Have you ever felt like a brand really knows you? They seem to know what platform you are on, then when you are on that platform what you are generally looking to do, whether that is buying, learning, or being entertained.

I’ve been thinking about everything I share on social media and what decision process did I go through to share it and help it go viral. I’m one of those people that has a collection of saved memes, posts, pulse articles, blogs, and videos that I keep to share with my circle.

I remember growing up and playing those games where you picked your own adventure. Today I realised mobile marketing is a convergence of that concept at its absolute best.

I have one of those friends that no matter what game we are playing they always have a strategy to win. It’s this type of instinct we need to embrace when creating our digital marketing strategy.

I’ll admit it, if you don’t entertain me within a few seconds on social media I’ve moved on. Kind of like that dog on the Disney movie ‘Up’ when he sees a squirrel. I am easily distracted by all the other social media noise.
